Professor Amit Raphael Zoran is a computer science researcher, educator, and hybrid designer whose work explores the evolving relationship between humans, technology, and space. A faculty member at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a graduate of the MIT Media Lab, he brings a deeply humanistic perspective to the field of interaction. Amit develops immersive courses that explore meditation, mysticism, and expanded states of consciousness—blending digital tools, craftsmanship, and ecological awareness. His teachings translate shamanic traditions into a modern technological language, offering a rare path toward integration and harmony: bridging city and forest, modernity and wilderness, the ancient and the new.
